Man Posing As Police Officer Attacks Woman in Clinton Township

A 39-year-old Clinton Township man pretended to be a police officer, forcing his way into a woman's apartment early Monday morning and physically attacking her, according to Channel 4. 


The 33-year-old victim, who lives in the Green Valley Apartments in the Canal and Hayes area, called 911 to report the assault that left her with a broken facial bone. Township and Sterling Heights police Tasered and apprehended the suspect as he tried to get away from the scene, the television station reports.
