MSU Extension Program Offers Aspiring Zuckerbergs Do's and Don'ts of Business
The Feb. 9 Youth Entrepreneurship Academy, held in Clinton Township, is open to all middle and high school youth interested in earning money and creating their own businesses.

Whether it's establishing an after-school lawn service or launching the next Facebook, teens interested in starting their own business can get a head start next month through Michigan State University Extension.
MSU Extension offers a variety of educational programming for local residents on topics ranging from agriculture and natural resources, to youth and economic development.
One of their latest program offerings is a Youth Entrepreneurship Academy open to all middle and high school youth interested in earning money and creating their own businesses.

The six-hour program is designed to bring area youth together with local entrepreneurs and MSU Extension experts to learn how to generate business ideas, develop business plans, price products, market, distribute and more.
The academy will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church Community Center, 38900 Harper Ave., Clinton Township.
