Pankow Center to Offer Free Classes in Cooking, Computers, Gardening for Seniors
Students in various Frederick V. Pankow Career and Technical Education programs will offer special one-hour classes to seniors throughout the spring.

It's a win-win situation. High school students will have an opportunity to tutor their elders and seniors can reap the benefits of free instruction in computers, cooking and gardening.
Throughout the remainder of the school year, Frederick V. Pankow Career and Technical Education students will offer free classes for seniors in computers, cooking and gardening.
The classes will be held at the Frederick V. Pankow Center and lead by students currently enrolled in the respective programs.

Seniors can register for the following classes by calling 586-783-6330.Â
- Feb. 7, 12:30-1:30 p.m. – Culinary arts students offer "Cooking for Two."
- March 12, 19 and 26, 9:30-10:30 a.m. or 1-2 p.m. – Computer students assist seniors with "Computer Basics" by answering their questions in this open format class.
- April 16, 10-11 a.m. – Horticulture students will assist seniors with "Patio Gardening and Herbs."
The Pankow Center is located at 24600 F. V. Pankow Boulevard.
