
Some Clinton Township residents woke Wednesday morning to flooded basements and minor property damage after overnight storms.Â
Heavy rains caused basements to flood on Hillcrest in the Cass and Groesbeck area, as well as streetlight outages at Groesbeck and Harrington and Groesbeck and Metro Parkway, according to readers on the Clinton Township Patch Facebook page.Â
In neighboring Harrison Township, flooding was once again a problem at Willow Point mobile home community where water was reportedly nearly two feet deep, according to Fox 2 Detroit.
There were no DTE Energy customers in Clinton Township without power by later Wednesday, according to the DTE outage map.
