Suspicious Bone Found in Clinton Township Driveway Sent to Medical Examiner for Tests
A resident in the 20000 block of Vermander discovered the bone on her driveway Jan. 12, according to police.

Police are awaiting the result of tests by the Macomb County Medical Examiner on a suspicious bone found in the driveway of a Clinton Township home.
A resident in the 20000 block of Vermander discovered the bone on her driveway Jan. 12. The resident told police she suspects the neighbor’s dog left it there, as he often jumps the fence at night and leaves dead animals or garbage on her property, according to the police report.
However, not knowing whether the bone was animal or human, the woman reported the incident to police. Officers who responded say the bone looked like a knee joint, with the bones at each end appearing as though they had been sawed off, according to the report.
