2 Killed In Dearborn Motorcycle Crash

Two Dearborn-area residents died early Sunday morning after their motorcycle crashed into a truck.

DEARBORN, MI — Two people were killed early Sunday morning when their motorcycle crashed into a truck on Ford Road near Wyoming Avenue. Muhammed Al-Dairawi and Heba Bazzi, both 22, died of injuries from the accident, which occurred at about 1 a.m.

Dearborn Police said they were traveling westbound on Ford when a Ford F-150 truck pulled out on the road. Al-Dairawi, of Dearborn Heights, died at the scene. Bazzi, of Dearborn, was transported to an area hospital, but later passed away from her injuries.

Dearborn Police are currently investigating the crash. The occupants of the F-150, a family from Belleville, were not injured in the accident. Neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor in this crash, police said Monday in a news release.
