Body Found In Dearborn Heights River During Search For Missing Man With Autism: Police
Police haven't officially identified the body, but said it matches the description of a missing 30-year-old man with autism.
DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI — Officials on Thursday believe they found the body of a missing 30-year-old Dearborn Heights man with autism, according to police.
They believe the remains, which were found at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Rouge River near Hines Park in Dearborn Heights, belong to Yousif Hassan Naim, according to police.
While police haven't officially identified the body, they said it matches the description of Naim.

They do not suspect foul play, though they are still investigating and waiting for autopsy results from the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police said Naim had last been seen at roughly 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Warren and Ann Arbor Trail in Dearborn Heights. He was wearing a burgundy jacket, a blue beanie hat and gloves featuring a Chicago Bulls logo at the time, according to police.

Officials began searching for Naim along Ann Arbor Trail on Thursday. Officials said more than 200 volunteers participated in the search.
While surveying an area along the river with a drone, police said they found a body face down in the river. Officials pulled the body from the river with the help of neighboring law enforcement agencies, according to police.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. While the outcome was certainly tragic, I am heartened by the massive community turnout of residents, employees, police officers, firefighters and neighboring law enforcement agencies who stepped up to help with the search," Dearborn Heights Mayor Mo Baydoun said in a statement.
