Contractor Falls Off Crane At Ford Plant
The contractor reportedly plummeted 50 feet while working on a crane at a Ford Dearborn plant.
DEARBORN, MI — A man is in the hospital after falling 50 feet from a crane at a Ford plant, according to media reports.
The incident happened at Ford's Dearborn Diversified Manufacturing Plant on Miller Rd. early this morning. A Ford spokesperson revealed the unidentified contractor wasn't wearing a safety strap, Fox 2 reports.
The victim suffered injuries and has been taken to a hospital. No other details are available at this time.
