Dearborn Bank Robber Gets Up To 15 Years In Prison

A 53-year-old Detroit man was recently sentenced for an April bank robbery in Dearborn.

DEARBORN, MI — A 53-year-old Detroit man has been sentenced in connection with an April bank robbery in Dearborn. Michael Anthony Lloyd received 4 ½ -15 years in prison after pleading guilty to Bank Robbery and Assault with Intent to Rob while Armed in front of Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Kelly Ramsey.

Lloyd entered a Telegraph Road Comerica bank on April 4 shortly before noon and pointed a handgun at a teller, according to Dearborn Police. He fled on foot after the incident, without receiving any money. No injuries were reported.

Michael Anthony Lloyd

After an extensive investigation, police arrested Lloyd without incident in early May. A preliminary exam was scheduled for May 26. Lloyd pled guilty and was sentenced on July 3.
