Dearborn Hosts 6th Annual City Golf Championship Tournament
Dearborn Hills course to host sixth annual event on Sept. 7-8.
DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn’s Sixth Annual City Golf Championship Tournament will be Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 7-8 at the Robert Herndon Dearborn Hills Course and the public is invited to play.
The event, open to adult golfers from both Dearborn and the surrounding area, will feature 18 holes of play each day, beginning with a shotgun start at
8 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
Competition will be divided into separate divisions for men, women and seniors (aged 55 and over).

The two-day tournament will also include a closest-to-the-pin contest each day and an award luncheon following Sunday’s second round.
Prospective participants can register on-line at www.dearbornhills.com, over the phone, or in person at the pro shop.

The cost is $60 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf each day, three tokens each round—good for food or a beverage at the turn—and the after-event award luncheon. The cost does not include the use of a cart.
The Robert Herndon Dearborn Hills Golf Course is on Telegraph Road just north of Michigan Avenue.
