Dearborn Police Want to Know: Do You Know This Man?
A 30-year-old white male allegedly robbed a CVS pharmacy store in Dearborn on Aug. 25.
The Dearborn Police Department is asking for the public's help to catch a suspect who was involved in an armed robbery at the CVS Pharmacy located at 2701 S. Telegraph Road on Aug. 25.
According to police, the man approached a female cashier, placed a clear blue reusable shopping bag on the counter and pulled a handgun out of his waistband.
The man placed the handgun on the counter, pointed in the direction of the cashier and told her, “This is a robbery, give me the money.” The man fled with $262 cash from the store.
He is described as a 30- to 35-year-old white male, approximately 6 feet tall, thin build with scruffy facial hair wearing a blue baseball hat, gray/blue button up work-style shirt and jeans.
The man had a black and silver semi-automatic handgun. Witnesses observed the man get into a newer model black Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows.
Dearborn Heights has had three similar incidents in which investigators believe the same suspect is involved. The Dearborn Heights incidents occurred between Aug. 25
and Aug. 30 at 4503 S. Telegraph Road, 25488 Michigan Ave. and 4401 S. Telegraph Road.
The Dearborn and Dearborn Heights police departments are working together to solve these crimes. Anyone with information on the suspect or suspect vehicle can call the tip line at 313-943-3012.
