DEARBORN, MI — A number of new faces will greet students in the fall when classes resume in the Dearborn Public Schools. New principals were named for Smith Middle School and at three elementary schools. The appointments were made at the recent Dearborn Public Schools Board of Education meeting.

At Snow, interim Principal Amal Alcodray was appointed permanently to the position. Alcodray has worked in the district for 14 years as a teacher, counselor and administrator. Daniel Blessing was appointed principal at Howard Elementary. He will replace Martha Butch, who resigned.
