Dearborn's Farmers & Artisans Market Now At New Wagner Park
It's time to celebrate summer in downtown Dearborn with the opening of the Farmers & Artisans Market June 7 at the new Wagner Park.

DEARBORN, MI – Downtown Dearborn will be bustling on Friday, June 7, with a series of events to celebrate the opening of the seasonal Farmers & Artisans Market along with the grand opening of the new Wagner Park.
Wagner Park is the new home of the Farmers & Artisans Market.
Wagner Park is the green space associated with Wagner Place, the, 150,000 square foot mixed-used development which includes the partial restoration of the historic Wagner Hotel on Michigan Ave. The park is located just off of West Village Drive between Monroe & Mason in Downtown Dearborn, one block south of Michigan Avenue.

The Dearborn Farmers & Artisans Market brings the community together to support local farmers, entrepreneurs and small businesses, and it promotes healthy living by providing quality, fresh and wholesome food. The 2019 season will kick off on Friday, June 7, with dozens of vendors offering fresh produce, greenery and goods. It is also Kids Day at the Market, so the whole family can enjoy activities such as face painting, a bounce house, a magician, jugglers and a slot car racing game.
In addition to the Farmers Market vendors and activities, Friday, June 7 marks the official opening of Wagner Park. Explore the new space and enjoy music, food, a car display and family fun. City of Dearborn Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr., will offer remarks and preside over a ribbon cutting with representatives from Ford Land at 3 p.m.

Participants can also enjoy bites from Wagner Place restaurants The Great Commoner, Modern Greek, Paradise Briyani Pointe Indian Cuisine and visit with OrangeTheory Fitness and Lash & Company, which will have booths at the event.
“When conceptualizing and building Wagner Place, we envisioned a space for the community to connect and engage, Wagner Park is the realization of that vision,” said Dave Dubensky, chairman and CEO, Ford Land. “Welcoming the Dearborn Farmers & Artisans Market to Wagner Park offers a new way for Ford employees to connect with Downtown Dearborn and the community at large.”

“Wagner Park provides the perfect backdrop for this season’s Farmers & Artisans Market – a beautiful new landscape and space to enjoy with easy access to many Downtown Dearborn amenities,” said Cristina Sheppard-Decius, Dearborn Downtown Development Authorities’ Executive Director. “This new location provides a new way for friends and neighbors to engage with our Downtown Dearborn community.”
