  • Between Jan. 6-17, all students between 13 and 18 years of age are required to have a parent accompany them to the library to sign an agreement of responsibility and show identification. Parents need not remain in the building with their children, but can if they choose. The agreement states that both the parent and student have read the Library Code of Conduct and will abide by library rules. Staff will be posted near the public entrance doors to facilitate student visits. The parent only needs to sign the agreement once during these dates.
  • At all times, the Dearborn Public Library requires that students between 13 and 18 years of age are always prepared to show school ID or other valid photo identification while using any Dearborn Public Library.
  • Please remember that children under the age of 13 must always be accompanied by someone 18 years of age or older when using the Dearborn Public Library.
