Free Swing Era Music Concert Presented By Dearborn Big Band

Dearborn Big Band will offer the contest on Jan. 29.

DEARBORN, MI — If you love swing era music, then you're going to want to put Jan. 29 on the calendar. That's the date the Dearborn Big Band, an ensemble specializing in swing-era music, is offering a free concert, according to a press release.

The show will take place at 3 p.m. at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center’s Michael A. Guido Theater.

Donald McAlpine will lead the Dearborn Big Band in classic selections, popularized by legendary swing artists including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller.
