Man Bites Walmart Security Officer, Attempts to Flee with Merchandise
Dearborn police are looking for three men who attempted to shoplift from Walmart on Aug. 29.
Dearborn police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect who assaulted a security guard at Walmart in Dearborn while attempting to steal several items.
The incident occurred on Aug. 29 at 5851 Mercury Drive. According to police, the suspect, a black male, assaulted an officer and fled the scene in a white Chevy Lumina with two other suspects. The vehicle was last seen northbound on the Southfield service drive heading to Detroit.
Walmart security cameras were able to capture the image of the suspect who assaulted the employee. The main suspect was wearing a Minnesota Vikings baseball hat and a rosary around his neck.

"The assistance of the public is crucial in helping the police department solve these types of crimes where suspects put the public at risk," Chief Ronald Haddad said.
Anyone recognizing the men in the pictures is asked to call the Dearborn Police Department and speak to Sgt. Andreas Barnett at 313-943-2214.
