Public Budget Meeting Set For Dearborn May 21
Dearborn is in the process of adopting a new fiscal year budget. Here's how to get all the details on it.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn residents are welcome to attend the public hearing for the proposed Fiscal Year 2019-20 budget. The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 n the City Council Chambers of the Dearborn Administrative Center (DAC), 16901 Michigan Ave.
The proposed FY2020 budget covers July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
Since March, multiple meetings on the proposed budget have taken place between the administration and the Dearborn City Council.

Residents attending the May 21 meeting should use the West Entrance of the DAC, city officials said.

The budget must be approved by the Dearborn City Council before the new fiscal year begins. A budget adoption meeting date will be set soon, according to the city, and that meeting is also open to the public, too.
