While awaiting transfer to the Dearborn Police Department, the suspect informed campus security that an unknown person had given him the books a week earlier and that he was not a student at HFCC. A subsequent review of the store's security camera, however, shows the man enter the store with only a yellow envelope, police said.
Security officers also observed the man throw a object underneath his seat while he was being detained for questioning. Upon investigation, officers located a small bag of marijuana near the suspect.
