42K Without Power In Metro Detroit

METRO DETROIT — Over 42,000 homes and businesses in Metro Detroit are without power Wednesday morning after storms rolled through the area late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, according to DTE.
Most of the power outages are in Livingston and Oakland Counties, with smaller pockets of outages in Wayne County.
Some of the largest areas include Milford, South Lyon and Pontiac and the largest band of outages stretches as far as Brighton to Rochester.

On the other hand, a few of the smaller patches in Wayne County include, Livonia, Westland, Warren, Farmington Hills, Oak Park, Southfield, St. Clair Shores and the Grosse Pointes.

DTE said it has restored power to nearly 50,000 Metro Detroit homes and businesses since 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night when more than 87,000 outages were reported.
DTE said they have more than 570 crews working in the field to restore power.
