Dangerously Cold Wind Chills Arrive: Metro Detroit Weather

The next few days will be very cold across the Detroit area thanks to a blast of Arctic air.

Many across the region woke up Thursday morning to single-digit wind chills, and it will only get colder Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expect most areas will see below zero wind chills Friday morning.

Highs will only reach the 20s, but it won't feel like it as steady winds will make it feel roughly 10 degrees colder, the weather service said.

The cold temperatures bleed right into the weekend with another chance for snow Sunday, the weather service said.
