DETROIT, MI — Matthew Stafford, the longtime quarterback of the Detroit Lions, has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to multiple reports.

Stafford was one of eight Lions placed on the team's reserve/COVID-19 list in the last week, indicating they have either tested positive for the virus or have come in close contact with someone who has, according to The Detroit Free Press.

The Free Press reported that Stafford had tested negative for the virus twice earlier in the week before posting a positive test on Friday.
