Detroit One Of The Least Pet Friendly Cities Nationwide: Report

According to a Wallethub report, Detroit is the No. 5 overall least friendly city for pets.

DETROIT, MI — Detroit is one of the least pet friendly cities in the country, according a new Wallethub report. It took the No. 5 overall spot behind Fresno, CA (No. 4); Newark, NJ (No. 3); Honolulu, HI (No. 2) and Santa Ana, CA (No. 1).

The report also listed Detroit as one of the top five cities in the country for having the fewest pet businesses per capita. Cities that fared worse were New York, NY; Laredo, TX and Newwark, NJ.

Which city is the most-pet friendly? That honors goes to Scottsdale, AZ followed by Tampa, FL; Orlando, FL; Las Vegas, NV and Birmingham, AL, Wallethub reported.
