Detroit Police Investigating Tuesday Morning Shooting
A 28-year-old Southfield man was shot early Tuesday morning while driving in Detroit, Michigan State Police said.
DETROIT, MI — A 28-year-old Southfield man was shot early Tuesday morning while driving in Detroit, Michigan State Police said.
Troopers said Detroit Police told them of the shooting around 3:45 a.m. on southbound Lodge, near MLK.
When troopers spoke with the victim, they said he told them he had exited I-96 and turned right onto MLK. Police said the victim told them he saw a traffic crash before hearing gunshots and noticing he had been struck struck in the elbow.

The incident remains under investigation by Detroit police.
