DETROIT — The 19th annual Detroit Christmas Tree Lighting will light up Downtown Detroit on Nov. 18, the Downtown Detroit Partnership and DTE Energy Foundation announced Thursday.
The 65-foot Norway spruce from Michigan will be delivered to Campus Martius Park on Thursday afternoon, where there will also be food trucks, carriage rides, and shopping at the Downtown Detroit Markets.
The tree lighting will include a performance by Darren Criss, a Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning singer and songwriter who was in the TV show "Glee." American figure skater champion Mariah Bell will also be on hand.
