DETROIT — Former Detroit Pistons shooting guard Malik Beasley was evicted from his high-rise apartment in Detroit amid an FBI gambling probe, according to an ESPN report.

Court documents showed Beasley was sued twice for unpaid rent totaling $21,505, according to the ESPN report.

The first case was dismissed in March, but a judge later issued an eviction order in a second case for $7,355 after Beasley failed to respond, according to the ESPN report.

Beasley, 28, has also been sued by a celebrity barber, a dentist and a company that provides bridge loans to professional athletes, according to a Detroit News report, citing court documents.

Federal officials said Beasley gambled on NBA games and prop bets during the 2023-24 season when he was a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. Though under investigation since June, he has not been charged with a crime.

Following that stint with the Bucks, Beasley signed a one-year, $6.6 million contract with the Pistons for the 2024-25 season. He averaged 16.3 points per game and shot 41 percent from three-point range, helping the team make the playoffs for the first time since 2019.

After the resurgent year, Beasley was in discussions with the Pistons about a three-year, $42 million deal before talks were paused, according to reports.

Beasley remains a free agent.
