Expect Storms With 60 MPH Winds, Hail Monday Evening
A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for counties across Michigan, with cloud-to-ground lighting occurring and hail possible.

MICHIGAN — Severe storms are headed for southeastern Michigan Monday evening, according to weather forecasts. A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for the following counties: Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe.
A cold front triggering scattered thunderstorms is passing through the state, creating isolated severe thunderstorms in the early evening and producing damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph.
Hail up to 1 inch in diameter is also possible. According to the weather alert, cloud-to-ground lightning is also occurring with these storms.
Flooding may happen in areas with poor drainage with all the heavy rainfall.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 68. West southwest wind 7 to 9 mph becoming north northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunny, with a high near 81. North northwest wind 8 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 61. North wind 6 to 9 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 80. North wind 5 to 7 mph.
