Gusty Winds, Heavy Downpours Possible Monday: Metro Detroit Weather

Showers and thunderstorms are expected across the metro Detroit area Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather, but warned gusty winds and heavy downpours will be possible in some areas.

Tuesday will also be the warmest day of the week with highs climbing into the upper 70s. More showers and storms are likely across the region on Wednesday and Thursday, before a sunny weekend, the weather service said.
