Heat Advisory: Temps To Feel Like 100 Degrees Tuesday
With the humidity and high dew points, expect temperatures to soar and feel even higher until Tuesday evening at dusk.

SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — A heat advisory is in effect throughout southeastern Michigan on Tuesday, until 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Overnight heat indices in the 80s provided little relief for the ongoing heat and high temperatures Tuesday will again reach into the lower 90s. Coupled with dewpoints into the 70s, it will yield peak heat indices around 100 degrees this afternoon and early into the evening, the forecast said.
The hot and humid air could lead to potentially hazardous conditions, particularly for the elderly and those with pre-existing health conditions. To avoid heat illnesses, drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun and check up on relatives and neighbors.
