Highs Could Hit 50s With Rain This Week: Metro Detroit Weather

There are multiple chances for rain this week across the Detroit area as temperatures soar above freezing this week, according to the National Weather Service.

The first wave of rain will move into the area Tuesday morning when highs move into the 40s during the afternoon hours, the weather service said.

Highs will again climb into the 40s on Wednesday before another chance of rain moves into the area Thursday, the weather service said.

Highs across the Detroit area could reach the 50s Thursday and Friday, the weather service said.

The next chance of snow could hit the area Saturday, and even that appears to be a wintry mix, the weather service said.

Wednesday: Sunny; High 41, Low 33

Thursday: Rain; High 47, Low 38

Friday: Rain; High 48, Low 38

Saturday: Wintry Mix; High 42, Low 26
