I-94 Third Street Overpass Closed By MDOT
MDOT Closes The I-94 Third Street Overpass When Recent Inspections Showed Deterioration In Structural Supports On The Bridge
DETROIT, MI- MDOT has closed the Third Street overpass above Interstate 94 in Detroit today for public safety.
Recent inspection of the overpass reveals structural deterioration in bridge supports, MDOT required all traffic to be prohibited from using the overpass. All southbound traffic will be directed to Second Avenue to cross over I-94, this closure of the overpass will not impact any of the travel lanes on I-94.
