Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Tonight Show’ Coming To Detroit For Special Episode
Fallon will host the show along with a lineup of "star-studded guests with deep Detroit roots," organizers said.

DETROIT — The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is coming to Detroit for a "special Detroit-centric episode," NBC announced Friday.
The late-night talk show will tape the special one-night-only episode at the historic Detroit Opera House on Sunday, Sept. 14. Fallon will host the show along with a lineup of "star-studded guests with deep Detroit roots," organizers said.
The show, which usually features a mix of comedy, music and all-star guests, will air the next day on NBC and then Peacock the following day.

Ford, which is entering its fifth year collaborating with the show and its longstanding partnership with NBC, will team up with Fallon for this special episode.
It is the first time "The Tonight Show" is coming to Detroit. Typically, the show is taped before a live studio audience from Studio 6B in 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City.
