Katy Perry To Play Detroit For First Time In 8 Years

DETROIT — Add Katy Perry to a growing list of superstars that will play Detroit this year.

The pop star will play the Little Caesars Arena on Aug. 3 as part of her globetrotting Lifetimes Tour.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster, after a presale window for Citi cardholders and Verizon customers 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 p.m. Thursday.

Perry is one of the top-selling female artists in pop history with hits including "Firework" and "Roar." The LCA concert will be her first Detroit show since 2017, when she played the newly opened Little Caesars Arena as part of her Witness Tour.

This tour is in support of the 2024 album "143," which is her seventh studio album. The world tour kicks off in April in Mexico City and wraps up in November in Paris, France.
