DETROIT — The Detroit Lions will try to keep their division hopes alive on Thanksgiving Day when they welcome the Green Bay Packers.

The Lions (7-4) need a win to stay in the race for the NFC North. A win over the Packers (7-3-1) would put them just a half game back of the division leading Chicago Bears (8-3), whom they beat 52-21 in week 2.

A loss, on the other hand, would drop them a game and a half behind the Bears and two full games behind the Packers. They would also lose any tie-breaker in the win column against the Packers.
