Man Dies In Apartment Fire In Downtown Detroit
The victim may have been smoking in bed, reports say.

DETROIT, MI — A 53-year-old man died Thursday morning in a fire at the Leland apartments in downtown Detroit, according to reports. The man reportedly lived on the 10th floor and the fire was believed to have started from smoking in bed, WDIV reported.
The Leland is located at Bagley Street and Cass Avenue and includes 22 stories of apartments. Several floors had to be evacuated, according to reports.
