Michigan’s Prettiest City: Architectural Digest

MICHIGAN — Architectural Digest has named the prettiest cities in each U.S. state, from the charms of Stonington, Maine to Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, and all the picturesque towns in between.

When it came to the Mitten, they were enamored the a destination town on the west side of the state: Holland.

“While it may be a continent away from its Dutch sibling, tulips still bloom in this town along Lake Michigan, the downtown is thriving, and its iconic red lighthouse is practically a town symbol,” Architectural Digest wrote about the town.
