Motown Greats To Play Halftime Of Upcoming Detroit Lions Game

DETROIT — The Temptations will play at halftime at the Detroit Lions upcoming "Thursday Night Football" game against the Dallas Cowboys, the team announced.

The nationally televised game is scheduled to take place Thursday, Dec. 4 at Ford Field. The Lions are asking fans who are attending the game to wear white. They will also highlight their Women in Football platform throughout the day.

Motown auditioned and signed the original Temptations in 1961. Some of their top hits include "My Girl," "Just My Imagination," "Get Ready" and "Papa Was a Rolling Stone."

As of Wednesday, the Lions are currently 6-3, in first place in the NFC North division. The Cowboys are 3-5-1, in second place in the NFC East.
