Man, 53, Dies In Motorcycle Crash On Detroit Highway: MSP

DETROIT, MI — A 53-year-old Melvindale man died Monday night after crashing the motorcycle he was driving on a Detroit highway, Michigan State Police authorities said.
The ramp from southbound M-39 to eastbound I-96 was shut down for several hours Monday night while Michigan State Police investigated the crash, police said.
Police responded to the southbound ramp M-39 ramp to eastbound I-96 following a 911 call of a crash involving a motorcycle, police said. No other vehicle was involved in the crash, police said.

When troopers arrived on the scene they began CPR, police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
