MSP: No One Injured During Tuesday Morning Freeway Shooting
Police said the shooting stemmed from a prior traffic altercation and was not random.
DETROIT — No one was injured during a freeway shooting on Detroit's west side early Tuesday morning, Michigan State Police said.
About 6:20 a.m., troopers were called to the northbound Southfield Freeway exit ramp to 7 Mile for reports of a shooting, police said.
Preliminary investigation revealed a semi-truck was on the exit ramp to 7 Mile from M-39 northbound when a two door passenger car pulled alongside the semi and fired shots at the truck, police said.

The vehicle the suspect drove was last seen headed westbound on 7 Mile Road, police said.
According to state troopers, the shooting stemmed from a traffic altercation and was not random.
