A barricaded gunman is held up in a residence on the city's west side, according to reports.
DETROIT, MI — A barricaded gunman is held up in a residence on the city's west side, according to reports.
Fox 2 Detroit reported that special response officers have the house, located in the 8000 block of Ellsworth, surrounded. One person was shot and transported to a local hospital and a 13-year-old girl inside the home was released to police, the station reported. The station reported that the situation began about 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
Neighbors are being asked to stay inside their homes, Fox 2 reported.
