Several COVID-19 Cases Forces Detroit School Back Online

Bates Academy was force to close in-person learning after several students and staff tested positive for COVID-19.

DETROIT — Students at Bates Academy on Detroit’s west side will return to remote learning because of COVID-19 concerns, FOX 2 Detroit reported

The school suspended in-person learning Thursday after several students and staff tested positive for COVID-19, including the school’s principal.

Bates Academy plans to have students return to in-person learning on Nov. 1.
