State Police Targeting Speeding Thursday
Be on the lookout on these highways, where there's extra patrols set up today.

MICHIGAN — Michigan State Police are out patrolling for speeders and aggressive drivers today, they tweeted. Be on the lookout if you’re driving on M-14 today, where authorities have set up a “special enforcement section” to crack down on violations from I-275 to the county line on Thursday.
"We will be looking for speeding and aggressive drivers. Please take it easy out there," MSP said in the tweet. "Hopefully we will have a slow day, but something tells me we won’t."
MSP has been conducting crackdowns on freeways around Metro Detroit this year, including on the Southfield Freeway, issuing 45 speeding tickets back in July, and recently on drivers who don’t give enough room to emergency vehicles on the road.
