Storms Moving In Across Metro Detroit Tuesday
Expect up to three quarters of an inch of rain, plus more on Wednesday.

SOUTHEAST, MI — Metro Detroit is gearing up for another round of rain Tuesday night, with a chance of thunderstorms and showers after 7 p.m. Expect between half and three quarters of an inch of rain Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Wednesday is also expected to bring storms and showers, but Thursday gives way to the start of a sunny, warm weekend.

Tuesday afternoon
A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 77. East northeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Tuesday night
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 7pm. Low around 67. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Periods of showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 9am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9am. High near 81. West northwest wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday night
A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. South southwest wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Southwest wind 5 to 9 mph.
