Storms Possible Wednesday As Temps Return To 80s: Metro Detroit Weather

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather.

SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — Showers and thunderstorms are possible Wedensday as temperatures warm up into the 80s, according to the National Weather Service.

The storms will move into the area during the late evening hours and continue overnight, the weather service said.

The storms should fade away by daybreak Thursday when highs only make it into the 60s, the weather service said.

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather.

The cooler temperatures, which are about 10 degrees below average for this time of year, will stick around through the rest of the week and through the weekend, the weather service said.

Thursday: Sunny; High 68, Low 52
