Suspect In Weekend Homicide Shot, Killed By Detroit PD: Report
No shots were fired toward officers, but the man was armed, according to reports.
DETROIT, MI — An armed suspect of a homicide from over the weekend was shot and killed by city of Detroit police officers, according to reports.
Police shot the man — who was believed to be involved in a quadruple shooting from over the weekend — Thursday on the city's east side, Fox2Detroit reported. The shooting took place following a foot chase and ended at Whittier and McKinney, near I-94.
Fox2Detroit reported that the suspect died at a local hospital. No officers were injured.
