TCF Center Field Hospital Operations Paused: Report
The center will available for use again as a field hospital if needed.
DETROIT, MI — Operations at the TCF Center, which had been turned into a temporary field hospital due to the coronavirus pandemic, have been paused, according to local media reports.
WXYZ in Detroit reported beds will remain at the site and the center will be ready for use if needed, but will temporarily pause operations.
The center will be in reserve and ready to receive patients if the need arises, WXYZ reported.

As of Wednesday morning, Michigan had reported more than 45,000 cases of the coronavirus. Detroit was nearing 10,000 confirmed cases of the virus.
