Thunderstorms, Hail Predicted Friday Ahead Of Heatwave
We'll go from stormy to muggy quickly this weekend. Here's a look at your forecast.

SOUTHEASTERN MICH. — This weekend is going to be a hot one, with temperatures reaching 90 degrees and above both Saturday and Sunday. But first, a bout of thunderstorms across the region with hail and strong winds predicted, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm warning is in effect for Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe counties.
The worst storms are expected east of the US 23 corridor, according to the forecast and they can produce heavy rainfall and strong winds. Expect possible thunderstorms with winds up to 50 mph and small hail.

The skies should clear up after 8 p.m., leading into a muggy weekend.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. South southwest wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Friday night
A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 66. South wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday night
Mostly clear, with a low around 72. South wind 5 to 7 mph.
Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 92. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph.
Sunday night
Mostly clear, with a low around 74.
