VIDEO: Gunman Shoots Customer At Detroit Store, Tries To Rob Him
The Detroit Police Department is asking the public to help officers identify a shooting suspect caught on camera.

DETROIT, MI — The Detroit Police Department is asking the public to help officers identify and locate a suspect involved in a non-fatal shooting that recently occurred at Poe Street and W. Grand Boulevard.
According to police, on June 13, 2021 at approximately 9:55 p.m. the victim parked his white Jeep and went inside a store. While inside, a black Nissan, occupied by the suspect and a driver, pulled up to the location and parked next to the victim’s car.
After the victim returned to his vehicle, police said the suspect exited his vehicle and attempted to rob the victim at gunpoint.

A struggle ensued, resulting in the suspect shooting the victim multiple times as he attempted to get away. The suspect then returned to his vehicle and fled with the driver, police said.
The victim is recovering from his injuries at a nearby hospital, police said.
