METRO DETROIT, MI — After a sweltering Fourth of July week, the cooler air is finally moving in and the heat and humidity are moving out of metro Detroit -- perfect for some outdoor activities.

A cold front is officially passing through southeast Michigan starting Friday morning and the skies are expected to be clear all weekend.

Clear, with a low around 58. Northeast wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
