We may start the week off with some light showers, but sunny skies are headed our way.

METRO DETROIT, MI — After a week weekend, most metro Detroiters could probably use some sunshine. Monday and Tuesday are expected to be scattered with light showers, but skies will clear up by midweek, giving way to sunny skies and warm (but not too warm) temps.

A chance of showers after 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. South southeast wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

A chance of showers before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. South wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
