MICHIGAN — Everyone likes to show off their “I Voted” sticker but in some places, it will score you freebies. Who doesn’t like a free cup of joe or cookie to make Election Day a little sweeter?
Don’t forget that Uber and Lyft are giving out rides for free, or very cheap, for people who need to get to the polls. Also, some YMCA locations are offering free childcare -- check your local organization for details.
It’s a legal gray area to give out free stuff to sway voters, but these companies are handing out goodies to voters who have the sticker or not:
