Where To Get Freebies In Michigan With Your 'I Voted' Sticker

MICHIGAN — Everyone likes to show off their “I Voted” sticker but in some places, it will score you freebies. Who doesn’t like a free cup of joe or cookie to make Election Day a little sweeter?

Don’t forget that Uber and Lyft are giving out rides for free, or very cheap, for people who need to get to the polls. Also, some YMCA locations are offering free childcare -- check your local organization for details.

It’s a legal gray area to give out free stuff to sway voters, but these companies are handing out goodies to voters who have the sticker or not:

Shake Shack

You're getting free fries with any order on Election Day. Show your "I Voted" sticker in-store or use the code "ivoted" on the Shack App.

Make a purchase with an "I voted" sticker on your shirt, and you'll get a free cookie.

This popular brunch spot in Corktown is offering free vegan cupcakes to voters today.

Henry Ford Museum

Celebrate today by visiting the Henry Ford Museum gratis. It’s free to all in honor of their latest exhibit – Rockwell, Roosevelt and the Four Freedoms. You don't even have to show your sticker for this one.

Biggby Coffee

It's technically not free, but if this is your Michigan coffee of choice, then you can show your sticker and get your favorite tall drink for 99 cents.
